Agricultural practice that does not use chemicals for cultivation is Organic farming. It is the original representation of agriculture. With improvement and wide research in chemical studies, inorganic chemicals happened to dominate older practices.

Most inorganic fertilizers and pests are chemically non-degradable. These inorganic substances tend to remain in the soil for decades together. These are hazardous to human beings and cattle when consumed. Several carcinogenic effects are reported from such.
